Homeschool with Purpose

GOOD GRADES MATTER, BUT WHO YOUR CHILD BECOMES MATTERS MORE

Life Beyond Homeschool helps parents educate with the end in mind.

Three stages. Start at any age.

Most homeschool parents are doing a great job with academics. We plan our homeschool one year at a time, choosing curriculum, setting goals, and checking boxes as we go. That works for academics.

But it doesn’t always allow us to focus on what really matters:

  • Who is my child becoming through their learning?

  • How is God shaping them?

  • What are my child’s strengths, interests, and desires?

Educating with the end in mind means planning backward, starting with who we want our child to become.

Most homeschool families plan year by year, based on what needs to be covered. That works for meeting requirements.

But at some point, many parents pause and think, “Okay… but where is all of this headed?”

When we begin to focus on intentionally nurturing a child’s God-given interests, strengths, and desires, learning becomes more than something to finish, it becomes something that prepares our child for life and their place in God’s world.
