As parents, we have the most beautiful, sacred job: to guide our children in discovering their unique place in God's big, beautiful world. We teach them to read, write, and solve math problems, and those are all important! But what if those skills are just the beginning of something far greater? What if our goal isn’t just academic success, but helping our kids understand their purpose and calling in life?

It's Time to Help Your Child Discover Their Purpose in God's World

It’s easy to get caught up in the day-to-day grind of academic tasks—making sure our kids finish their work and keep up with the “to-do” list.

The real purpose of their education is to help them discover what God is calling them to do. Our children are not just learning facts and figures; they are discovering how to use their unique talents, strengths, and passions to serve the world around them. This is their calling—what God has prepared them to do for His glory and the good of others.

Let’s face it: today’s world can be overwhelming, especially for Gen Z and Gen Alpha.

So many kids today are growing up as consumers rather than contributors, and with the rise of AI, it’s easy for them to feel lost or left behind. But here's the good news: we, as parents, have the power to equip them to succeed.

When we help our kids discover what God is calling them to do, when we align them with their God-given purpose, they won’t just survive in this world. They will thrive. They’ll have confidence in who they are, knowing that their skills, strengths, and passions are gifts given to them for a higher purpose.

This curriculum will help your child:

  1. Understand their God-given gifts: Recognize their unique strengths, talents, and passions.

  2. Explore their calling: Help them begin to see how their interests and desires align with God’s plan for them.

  3. Live purposefully: Equip them with the confidence to use their gifts to serve God and others.

This isn’t just another “hobby-finding” curriculum. Called: Discovering God’s Path is a 16-week journey that empowers children ages 8-12 to explore their unique gifts and discover how they fit into God's bigger plan. It’s designed to help your child identify their strengths, understand their talents, and recognize how all of it points toward God’s calling for their life.

Through engaging activities, thought-provoking questions, and creative exercises, your child will begin to understand that they are more than just a student—they are a part of a much bigger story.

Called: Discovering God’s Path

Discovering Their Path Through Everyday Learning

As you teach your child, the goal isn’t just to complete another lesson, but to help them discover how their education ties into their calling. With Called: Discovering God’s Path, you’ll see that every subject, whether it’s science, math, history, or the arts, can be a stepping stone toward uncovering their unique purpose.

For example:

  • Science can spark a curiosity about space expeditions or geology, potentially leading to a passion for astronomy, geology, or biology.

  • Math opens the door to exciting possibilities in engineering, architecture, or technology.

  • Literature and Language can shape a future in writing, teaching, or communications.

By understanding what your child is naturally drawn to, you can intentionally nurture and cultivate their gifts, fanning the flames of their heart’s desires, desires that God Himself has placed within them. This is how we guide our children to find purpose in every part of their education, not just the "academics," but their calling.

Take a Peek Inside

Hi, I'm Tia Marie, the Founder of Created, Called, & Confident

As a Director of Human Resources, I’ve seen firsthand how many young people, especially homeschool graduates, are unprepared for life beyond school. They lack direction, understanding of their unique strengths, and how they can contribute to the world around them. That's why I’m passionate about equipping, empowering, and encouraging parents to help their children discover their God-given purpose.

I have four children of my own. Two have already graduated, and two are still on their journey of discovering their calling. Through my experience as a mother and a professional, I’ve realized that God doesn’t just call us to educate our children through the world’s system but to His. Each child has a unique purpose, and as parents, we have the incredible privilege of guiding them to discover that plan.

This curriculum is my way of helping you do just that—empowering you to help your children self-discover who God has created them to be, what He is calling them to do, and how they can confidently live out their purpose.

But…what if?

My child is already busy with regular schoolwork. How can I fit this curriculum in?

I totally get it, life can get really busy! The great thing about Called: Discovering God’s Path is that it’s flexible. You can either weave it into your child’s regular learning schedule or teach it separately in bite-sized chunks. Each lesson is designed to be simple and doesn’t require hours of extra work. It’s meant to complement what your child is already learning and help them see how everything fits into God’s purpose for their life. You don’t have to do everything at once; just a little bit each week will make a difference.

My child isn’t interested in the topic of ‘calling’ yet? They’re just a kid!

That’s okay! A lot of kids aren’t thinking about their future career at this age, and that’s perfectly normal. But this curriculum isn’t just about figuring out a job; it’s about helping your child discover their purpose and passions, even at a young age. The goal is to spark curiosity and help them see that what they enjoy now could be part of what God is calling them to do in the future. It’s never too early to start planting seeds!

This seems like another thing I have to add to my already full plate. Is it really necessary?

I hear you. As parents, we already have so much on our plates, and it’s easy to feel like one more thing is just too much. But here’s the thing…Called: Discovering God’s Path isn’t about adding stress, it’s about helping you guide your child towards something bigger than just schoolwork. It’s about helping them see that learning isn’t just for grades but for purpose and growth. You’re not just teaching them math or science; you’re teaching them why they’re learning those things and how it all fits into God’s plan. It can be added to your routine without feeling overwhelmed, and it will make the rest of their education more meaningful.

My child is still figuring out what they want to do? How does this curriculum help?

Great question! This curriculum is perfect for kids who are still figuring things out. It’s not about having all the answers right away, but about giving your child the space to explore their gifts and passions. The goal is to help them identify what excites them, what they’re good at, and how all of that connects to what God might be calling them to do. It’s a process, and that’s totally okay! They don’t need to know their future right now; this curriculum just helps them start thinking about the possibilities in a fun and positive way.

I’m not sure I’m qualified to teach this. Do I need a lot of experience to use this curriculum?

You don’t need to be an expert or a teacher to make this work! Called: Discovering God’s Path is designed with parents in mind, so it’s easy to follow. Each lesson includes simple instructions, and there are plenty of resources to guide you along the way. It’s less about teaching “perfectly” and more about starting conversations with your child about their strengths and calling. You’ve got this—your love and guidance are all your child needs to get started.
